If I cannot have my cake and eat it to, then I do not want the cake says Vondecarlo Brown regarding her journey to reach her full potential as an artist.
She first appeared on FOX's original "TEMPTATION ISLAND" as the first single female to be voted off the island (by the other female cast members) for being "too intimidating". To her benefit, she gained no extra exposure or notoriety from appearing on the hit reality series, which made her focus less on becoming famous, and more on becoming a better artist.
Originally from Clairton, Pennsylvania (a small steel town outside of Pittsburgh), Vondecarlo moved to New York City, and has appeared on the daytime drama "ONE LIFE TO LIVE" as "Paulette", the Editor of Craze Magazine in addition to small roles in film and on stage.
Currently, Vondecarlo is preparing for her ONE WOMAN DRAMATIC STAGE PLAY - "LASAGNA" - a journey of a post-partum psychotic woman who is dealing with giving up her dreams to be a mother. Based on real life experiences, this is Vondecarlo's first play she has written and will perform as a solo act.
You can also see her on the weekly comedy series, THE PATRICE ONEAL SHOW-COMING SOON. A new episode airs at www.patriceoneal.com every Monday.
